A camel trench is one of them – and can you believe this one is extremely affordable, only $30! An affordable camel trench adds an instant layer of chic to any outfit. I really love the relaxed fit of this jacket from SheIn – the fits allows for a bit bulkier of a layer underneath like a sweater yet is light enough to wear indoors. I’m wearing a size Small. Have you added a camel trench to your closet yet? -xo

90s Inspired

Cher had a way with plaid. She could do no wrong: knee highs, fluffy pens and all. Which is why I was so excited when Boohoo approached me to style a 90s inspired outfit to celebrate their new line with Charli XCX – her first clothing line! Without a doubt in my mind, I knew the first piece of my look had to be plaid. But to really cement the look in the 90s, I reached for accessories – and funnily enough, like fashion does, this accessory is making a comeback – a backpack.

I wanted to take it one step further and include a hint of another one of my favorite 90s trends: grunge. What’s better than mixing plaid and a little bit of leather?

The dress is an easy, relaxed fit and would be perfect layered with a collared blouse or turtleneck underneath. I’m wearing a UK size 8 – can you believe it’s only $26?! I was also pleasantly surprised with the quality of the faux leather on the backpack. It’s currently on sale – and if you’ve been considering going in on this trend, a quality, affordable find is a great way to test drive it!

What do you think of the backpack trend anyways? Is it making a comeback or should we keep it in the 90s? -xo

What to Buy Now: the Fringe Sweater

black fringe sweater | lace-up heels | jeans | leopard clutch | gold ring | x ring | tank camisole

Now that the temps have finally cooled down, I’m rearing and ready to go for Fall… and looking to add a few new pieces to my closet. Top of my list: sweaters. But not just any sweater; I’m keeping my eye out for ones with unique details like the fringe on this otherwise basic black cardigan. I love the dimension it instantly adds to this outfit! Fringe was a huge trend this summer and it’s giving sweaters a new, unconventional twist!

I’ve had my eye on this fringe sweater for a few weeks now and I think it’s about that time to pull the trigger. This fringe sweater looks great with a pair of jeans like I’ve styled it here, and could also be worn belted over a dress with boots for work. What other unique details in sweaters do you look for?
