One of the biggest: what to wear. If you’re a planner, you’ve probably got this figured out. You probably took time the night before to think about this – I applaud and am in awe of you. If you’re like me, you’re half asleep, holding a cup of coffee in your hands and contemplating this very decision. What to wear. If the coffee hasn’t quite kicked in yet, let me help you out a bit – go with a tried and true perfect pairing: black skinnies, a cami and a burgundy blazer. You can’t go wrong. If you can’t get away with skinny jeans at the office, go with a skinny trouser like this one. Happy Monday; we’re one day closer to the weekend! -xo

If it’s been said once, it’s been said many many times – the ‘pussybow’ bow blouse really needs to be renamed. Regardless of the name, the bow blouse is one of my favorite fall trends this year. The style is versatile and chic – and can easily get another level of sass when paired with a hard to miss print like this python sheer blouse from French Connection. For the weekend, it’s fun to be a little daring, allowing your black bra to play a harmless game of peek-a-boo. But on Monday morning, paired with a black camisole to easily tamed this blouse for the office.

Decorating for Halloween doesn’t have to involve blood, guts and terror. While our front porch gets a transformation for the trick-or-treaters, I still want the inside of our home to remain stylish and glam during this spooky time of year. Using pieces with moody and dark hues like black and gold creates dramatic, chic Halloween décor with a sophisticated touch. Pairing classic pieces with a few spooky touches like skulls, webs or spiders will instantly transform your home décor. Just remember, moderation is key. Choose a theme but don’t be afraid to edit if it starts to feel overdone or too chachkey. Another bonus: you can reuse many of the pieces like these candlesticks throughout the year. What are some of your favorite themes or pieces to use for chic Halloween décor?
